Meet The Team
The ACO-Africa Team
John Bosco Ssenyondo
John is the creator and director of ACO-Africa and has a Bachelors Degree in Guidance and Counseling Psychology from Kyambogo University in Uganda. He was awarded advanced certificates in Social Work and Social Administration, Paediatric Counselling, Environmental Science and Management, Nutrition and Positive Living, Project Planning and Management, Entrepreneurship and Business Management.
John has over four years of directorial experience including various managerial roles, Project Coordinator, and Programme Officer for Orphans and Vulnerable families. He worked with various charities before establishing ACO-Africa in 2009 and it has since evolved into an international non-profit organisation.
Daisy Lewis
Daisy is based in the UK and is happiest when she is helping others and travelling. Daisy has worked for ACO-Africa since May 2016 after visiting Uganda for six months and falling in love with the country and its people. After graduating from the University of Leeds with a first-class degree in Popular and World Music, she has since volunteered in India, Thailand and Africa, working with a range of charities and organisations from hospitals to schools and orphanages.
Daisy is the UK Representative Director for ACO-Africa and enjoys fundraising and hands-on work!
